European stocks rise at the start of the week

European stocks started the week positively, driven by hopes of a December Fed rate cut. The pan-European Stoxx 600 rose 0.4% after the NY Fed's head left the door open for rate cut. Major bourses like FTSE (0.37% higher), DAX (0.86% higher) and CAC 40 (0.54%) gained, while FTSE MIB fell 0.36%. The chance of a December rate cut stands at 69.3% according to CME FedWatch.
