India Sees Record FII Outflows of Rs 1.58 Lakh Crore in 2025

Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) sold equities worth Rs 2,31,990 crore in 2025, which was the steepest net outflows in Indian capital markets history. Net FII outflow stood at Rs 1,58,407 crore, driven by Rs 22,130 crore in exchange-based selling, despite primary market investments of Rs 73,583 crore.
