Bandhan Bank transfers Rs 3,212 crore bad loans to ARCIL

Bandhan Bank sold a ₹3,212 crore microfinance NPL portfolio to Asset Reconstruction Company (India) (ARCIL) for ₹578 crore through a Swiss Challenge process. The sale included unsecured loans over 180 days past due. As of September 2025, the bank's gross and net NPAs ratio were 5% and 1.4%, respectively, mainly due to microfinance stress.
