Akasa Air completes IATA safety audit, joins global airline association

Akasa Air joins IATA after completing IOSA audit. As India's youngest airline, it becomes the 364th member of the global trade association, representing 80% of global air traffic. Founded in 2020 by Vinay Dube, the airline operates 31 Boeing 737 MAX planes and serves 26 domestic and six international destinations. IATA's Regional VP for Asia-Pacific described India's aviation potential as huge.
