HDFC Infinia credit card rewards reinstated, 5X points continue

HDFC Bank rolled back the reduction in reward points on its HDFC Infinia Credit Card. The reduction was from 5X to 3X on voucher purchases, effective from January 16, 2026. Infinia cardholders will continue to earn 5X reward points on voucher purchases, maintaining an effective reward rate of around 16.67 percent before fees.
