Biocon acquires 98% stake in Biocon Biologics for $200 million

Biocon Ltd completed its acquisition of Biocon Biologics Ltd, buying the remaining 7.18 crore equity shares from Mylan Inc for $200 million, bringing the total acquisition consideration to $400 million. With the full acquisition concluded, Biocon now holds 98% of BBL's equity share capital. It also raised ₹4,150 crore through a QIP and will use the proceeds to pay Mylan Inc.
