Definedge Securities launches retail algo trading platform

Definedge Securities has launched ALGOSTRA, a fully customizable retail trading automation platform with zero platform fees. The launch follows SEBI’s October 2025 framework allowing individual investors in algorithmic trading. The move aims to level the playing field with institutions, which captured 97% of FPI profits and 96% of proprietary trader profits in F&O during FY24.
