Hindustan Copper Ltd has been declared the preferred bidder for the Baghwari-Khirkhori copper and associated mineral block in Madhya Pradesh. The company won the block via an e-auction on January 22, 2026, emerging as the highest final price offeror and will now apply for a mining lease and composite licence. Its shares ended at ₹535.55 on January 24, up 0.71%.
