NCLT Approves Adani Group's Ambuja Cements Sanghi Industries Merger

The Ahmedabad bench of NCLT approved Ambuja Cements' merger scheme with Sanghi Industries. The NCLT deemed the scheme beneficial to the companies and shareholders, enhancing operational efficiency and consolidating resources. The merger is subject to further approvals. Ambuja Cements acquired Sanghi Industries in December 2023 for Rs 5,185 crore.
