Kotak Mahindra Bank CTO Bhavnish Lathia has quit

Bhavnish Lathia has stepped down as Kotak Mahindra Bank’s CTO citing personal reasons, effective February 9, 2026, as he relocates to the US. Nilesh Chaudhari takes over as CTO, while Vijay Narayanan is appointed head of innovation and AI from February 10. This is the bank’s second CTO change in over a year, after Milind Nagnur’s exit in January 2025.
