Bharti Airtel and its promoter group will invest ₹20,000 crore into Airtel Money, its newly-licensed non-bank arm, allowing it to offer loans and compete with Mukesh Ambani's Jio Financial Services. Airtel Money can leverage this capital to build a ₹1 trillion loan book, leveraging around 15% of the capital.
