FII/FPIs sell Indian equities, DIIs buy instead

Foreign investors (FIIs/FPIs) net sold Rs 2,714 crore worth of Indian equities on March 18, 2026, while domestic institutional investors (DIIs) net bought Rs 3,253 crore. Despite this, Indian equity benchmarks closed higher, gaining 196.65 points (0.83%) to settle at 23,777.80, boosted by increased buying momentum.
