USFDA gives tentative approval to Lupin's Sugammadex surgical drug

Lupin Ltd received tentative approval from the USFDA for its Sugammadex Injection, a bioequivalent to Bridion, used for reversing muscle relaxants in surgery. The approval is for 200mg/2mL and 500mg/5mL single-dose vials. Tentative approval allows Lupin to market the drug in the US upon final approval and regulatory exclusivity expiry.
