Transworld Shipping surges 20% after MOA to buy 'Saltwind Explorer' for ₹157 Cr

Transworld Shipping Lines Ltd, amid ongoing fleet renewal and recent ship sales, agreed to acquire the vessel Saltwind Explorer for Rs. 157 crore (US$16.5 million). Despite revenue falling 25.85% YOY to Rs. 102.45 crore in Q1 FY27, net profit rose to Rs. 29.51 crore, mainly from vessel sale gains. Shares hit the upper circuit at Rs. 192.63.
