Feb Series witnessed Total Rollovers of 75 % (6m-avg 81%), Nifty rollovers of 51% (6m-avg 62%) whereas SGX Nifty rollovers stood at
68% (6m-avg 80%).
Total Open Interest at the start of Mar’13 expiry is INR 960.7b as against INR 971.0b at the start of Feb’13 expiry.
Chem (84%) and Power (84%) sectors witnessed highest rollovers whereas Cement (69%) and Fmcg (69%) witnessed the lowest
rollovers.
Power (84%) and Auto (76%) witnessed the rise in rollovers as against 3m-avg rollovers whereas Pharma (79%) and Fmcg (69%)
witnessed drop in rollovers as against 3m-avg rollovers.
Stocks which have witnessed rise in Near Month OI over the last 3 expiries include Pnb, Idea, Bhel whereas stocks which have
witnessed drop in Near Month OI over the last 3 expiries include M&M, Hindunilvr, Reliance.
Stocks witnessing drop in Near Month OI series after rising for the last 3 series include Bpcl, Ranbaxy whereas stocks with rise in
Near Month OI after falling for the last 3 months is Maruti, Kotakbank.
Nhpc (89% vs. 3m-avg 76%) and Nmdc (87% vs. 3m-avg 74%) witnessed the rise in rollovers whereas Ucobank (68% vs. 3m-avg
91%)and Grasim (71% vs 3m-avg 87%) witnessed drop in rollovers.
