Market Drivers

Domestic market continued to be weak led by

sectors like metals. Global fall in commodity

prices triggered the correction in metal stocks.

Metal Index was the worst performing sector.

ADAG group stocks were big losers. Pharma was

also muted on back of weakness in stocks like

Sun pharma which lost post results. The overall

results season has been in line with no

substantial disappointments. Telecom, pharma

among the underperforming sectors reported

results in line with expectations. On the global

front, crude prices saw marginal decline. US

markets closed lower. Asia is trading positive and

that should be supportive for domestic market.

'Nifty index continued its weakness and corrected towards

10100 zones. It has been making lower highs – lower lows

from last seven trading sessions and requires to negate the

same to get the short term market stability. Now till it

sustains below 10178, weakness could continue towards

10080 then 10000 zones while on the upside hurdle is seen

at 10250 levels.
