Technical Outlook
Nifty index opened flattish but failed to hold above 10700 zones and
wiped out its entire gains of last session. It formed a Bearish Engulfing
pattern on daily scale as covered the entire movement of last candle
and closed below opening price of previous session. Overall price setup
suggests a range bound move with limited upside as well as downside,
so it has to hold the support of 10550 zones to consolidate in between
10550 to 10735 levels for next few sessions.

Nifty future closed negative with the loss of 0.57% at 10618. On the
option front, maximum Put OI is intact at 10500 followed by 10600
strike while maximum Call OI is at 10800 followed by 10700 strike. We
have seen Put unwinding at immediate strike prices while significant
call writing is seen at 10700 then 10650 strike which restricts its upside
move. Option data suggests a trading range between 10550 to 10750
zones. India VIX remained flattish to close at 13.12 levels. Lower VIX
even after the market fall suggests decline could be bought again.
. Built up of long position were seen in M&M, Tatapower, GAIL, Hcltech,
Dabur, IDEA, Jswsteel and BHEL while shorts were seen in Havells,
M&MFin, Coal India, Glenmark, Infratel and ZEEL.
