Tata Elxsi shares slump 5% on disappointing Q3 show
Shares of Tata Elxsi plunged 5 percent in early trade on April 24 after the company reported a decline in both net profit and revenue for the January-March quarter. At 9.15am, the shares of Tata Elxsi were trading at Rs 7,120 on the NSE. The company's net profit for the March quarter fell 4.6 percent on-quarter to Rs 196.93 crore from Rs 206.4 crore clocked in the October-December period of FY24.

Global funds sell Unilever India stock as sales growth falters
Global investors have cut holdings of Hindustan Unilever Ltd. to a four-year low as the company grapples with weak consumer demand and rising competition. Foreign funds reduced their ownership of India’s largest staples company to 12.7% at the end of March, down from as high as 14.5% in June last year, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

Tata Elxsi aims to hire up to 2,000 engineering freshers in FY25
Tata Elxsi  aims to add 1,500-2,000 engineering freshers in FY25, said the company in its Q4FY24 earnings conference call. On the other hand, lateral hiring will be based on needs. Tata Elxsi, however, said it would be a bit careful on the number of freshers that it hires. "We will meter hirings based on how the deals shape up and how the revenue keeps up in the year," said the management.
