Expert view: BFSI has valuation comfort; value emerging in largecap IT
Amit Premchandani, Senior Vice President and Fund Manager – Equity of UTI AMC is positive about the BFSI (banking, financial services and insurance) sector due to impressive loan growth, robust asset quality and adequate liquidity. FPI net debt outflows to continue until global uncertainties recede: expert
FPIs are likely to continue pulling out of Indian debt until global uncertainties such as Iran-Israel tensions, rising US Treasury yields, and pressure on inflation recede, experts said. FPIs have pulled out money from debt instruments in India on most trading days since the start of this month. FPI net investment in debt was negative at Rs 6,993 cr up to April 22, according to data from the NSDL.

Shares of Vodafone Idea (Vi) jumped over 6% Tuesday on the BSE, a day after the telco’s Rs 18,000 crore follow-on public offer(FPO), India’s biggest, was fully subscribed on the third day, with global institutional investors such as GQG, Capital Group and Fidelity Investments showing strong interest in the telecom company.
