Gold and silver prices extended losses

Prices of gold and silver extended their losses on Friday. Gold prices eased 0.3% to $4,601.53 per ounce, while silver declined 1.6% to $90.80 an ounce, amid a stronger US dollar following stronger-than-expected economic data. US gold futures fell 0.4% and platinum dropped 2%, while gold reserves in Poland's central bank may reach 700 tons.
