Silver and gold plummet amid tariff and geopolitical unrest

Gold futures due April 2026 fell 0.3% to Rs 1,60,516 per 10 grams, while silver futures dropped 2% to Rs 2,62,892 per kg on MCX. In the international market, gold rose 0.3% to $5,184.43 per ounce and silver gained 0.1% to $89.49 per ounce, amid uncertainty over US tariff policy and US-Iran tensions.
