Aluminium prices fall as Trump promises swift Mideast peace agreement

Aluminium prices on the Shanghai Futures Exchange slipped 2.88% to 24,465 yuan ($3,550.95) per metric ton, and fell 2.11% on the London Metal Exchange to $3,314 per ton. This was largely due to US President Donald Trump's pledge to quickly end the Middle East war, easing supply concerns, but aluminium remains vulnerable to supply shocks.
