SEBI raises duplicate share issuance threshold to Rs 10 lakh

SEBI increased the threshold for duplicate securities from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh and standardised documentation for simpler cases. Investors holding securities up to Rs 10 lakh need a standardised affidavit, while those under Rs 10,000 submit a simple undertaking. Listed companies will advertise losses for investors at no charge but may bill a minimal fee for the service, effective immediately.
