India expands natural gas pipeline network to over 25,000 kilometers

India’s operational natural gas pipeline network has expanded to 25,429 km, supporting the goal of a fully connected national gas grid for energy security and cleaner fuel use. Another 10,459 km is under development. Key initiatives like “One Nation, One Grid, One Tariff” and PM Ujjwala Yojana, with 10.35 crore beneficiaries, have lifted LPG usage to 4.85 refills per year.
