SEBI launches SME portal to aid small businesses

SEBI plans a dedicated digital portal to simplify compliance for SME issuers and enhance ease of doing business. The portal will provide issuer information and clearly mapped compliance guidance. Over 1,400 SMEs are listed with a combined market capitalisation of Rs 4.1 trillion, with 241 SME IPOs raising Rs 98 billion in FY25 and 232 SME IPOs mobilising Rs 105 billion in FY26.
