India's forex reserves hit $717 billion, gold reserves see sharp decline

India's foreign exchange reserves dipped USD 6.711 billion to $717.064 billion in the week ending February 6. The reserves dropped due to a decline in gold reserves, while foreign currency assets rose to $570.053 billion, a week-on-week increase of $7.661 billion. This is a slight dip after reaching a record high of $723.774 billion last week.
