US levies 10% tariffs on India, benefiting domestic labor-intensive exports

The US reduced its reciprocal tariff on India from 25% to 10% improving competitiveness of US labor-intensive sectors for Indian exports such as pharma, electronics, and textiles. However, Section 232 tariffs on steel and auto products remain in place and India's trade deal with the US is considered comprehensive and beneficial.
