Your UAN is a permanent 12-digit PF identity provided by EPFO. To retrieve it, link your mobile number to your EPF account, and go to the EPFO member portal, entering your mobile number and a captcha. If verified, your UAN appears on the screen and as an SMS. Your UAN remains valid even during career breaks, but update your contact details and activate it on the portal to use EPFO services.
