Unused UPI IDs can pose a security risk

People may unintentionally leave UPI IDs active after changing phones or banks, allowing unauthorized access. To prevent this, log into every used app, check for active handles, and update bank records. Remove and re-add linked bank accounts and reset UPI PINs. Close unused IDs, treating reactivation like a reset, and uninstall apps only after deactivating handles within.
