SIP inflows hit Rs 29,845 crore in February

SIP inflows decreased to Rs 29,845 crore in February 2026 from Rs 31,002 crore in January due to fewer banking days and calendar-related factors. 65.72 lakh new SIP accounts were registered, but 49.70 lakh were discontinued or matured, resulting in a stoppage ratio of 76%. The total SIP account base rose to 10.45 crore and assets under management reached Rs 16.64 lakh crore.
