FII/FPIs sell Indian equities, DII buys with net gains

DIIs net bought shares worth Rs 3812 crore, while foreign investors (FIIs/FPIs) were net sellers of Rs 1795 crore. DIIs net bought Rs 7.61 lakh crore shares this year and FIIs net sold Rs 2.77 lakh crore. The Sensex dropped 42.64 points and Nifty edged up 4.75 points. Market breadth favored bulls, with the midcap index finishing flat and the small-cap index gaining 0.37%.
