Coal India told to list subsidiaries by 2030 deadline

The Prime Minister's Office has directed the coal ministry to list all subsidiaries of state-run CIL by 2030 for improved governance and transparency. Coal India operates through eight subsidiaries, with plans to list two more, BCCL and Central Mine Planning, by 2026 and four others, including SECL and Mahanadi Coal, in the near future.
