Defence stock jumps 3% as shares soar after securing second major order

Apollo Micro Systems climbed 3% to ₹280 on January 1 after subsidiary IDL Explosives won a ₹419.39 crore Coal India contract and a ₹1.5 crore export order. This follows another ₹420 crore order on December 31. The firm is investing ₹100 crore to expand capacity in Telangana and has delivered multibagger returns of 125% in 2025 and over 2,100% in five years.
