Axis Bank underwrites Rs 5,400 cr loan for BluPine

BluPine Energy secured a ₹5,400 crore long-tenor loan from Axis Bank, with a 16-20 year tenor and 7.7% interest rate. The loan is secured against 17 renewable energy SPVs, covering solar and wind assets with long-term power purchase agreements. BluPine Energy has 1,426 MW operational capacity and is backed by Actis, which has committed $800 million to develop 4 GW of Indian renewable capacity.
