The Electricity Appellate Tribunal (APTEL) is scheduled to hear Indian Energy Exchange's (IEX) plea to withdraw Central Electricity Regulatory Commission's (CERC) July 2025 directive on day-ahead market coupling. IEX alleges the directive is arbitrary, violating principles of natural justice and is possibly part of an alleged insider trading conspiracy.
