Airtel in talks with government to reassess AGR dues

Bharti Airtel requested the DoT to recalculate its adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues, seeking a lower principal amount and reduced penalties. Its liability stands at Rs 48,103 crore, scheduled to commence payments from March 2026. The company joins others in seeking a reassessment, following the government's decision on Vodafone Idea's AGR dues.
