MCX Open on Budget Day Amid Silver Price Crash

The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will hold a special live trading session on February 1, 2026, due to the Union Budget presentation. Stock exchanges BSE and NSE will also be open despite it being a Sunday. MCX's March silver contract plummeted 16% to Rs 3,36,154 per kg and April gold contract fell 8% to Rs 169,600 per 10 gm.
