Coal India commits ₹6.33-cr to joint BCGCL, DVC ventures

Coal India Ltd (CIL) approved investing ₹3,189.54 crore in Bharat Coal Gasification and Chemicals Ltd (BCGCL) for an ammonium nitrate project, aiming to meet explosives requirements and reduce imports, with a 48-month implementation period. CIL will hold 51% in BCGCL, and a proposed joint venture with Damodar Valley Corporation for thermal and renewable power projects worth ₹20,886.40 crore.
