Uday Kotak becomes Gujarat's GIFT City Chairman

Uday Kotak, founder and director of Kotak Mahindra Bank, was appointed chairman of Gujarat International Finance Tec-City Company (GIFT City) with immediate effect. He succeeds Hasmukh Adhia, who had been serving as non-executive chairman since June 2023. Kotak, awarded the Padma Bhushan last month, has a prominent background in banking and financial services.
