Singapore govt, HDFC MF buy 14% stake in Vishal Mega Mart

The Government of Singapore acquired a 10.84% stake in Vishal Mega Mart for Rs 1,485 crore, HDFC Mutual Fund bought a 7.31% stake for Rs 1,100 crore, and the Monetary Authority of Singapore picked up a 6.04% stake for Rs 858 crore in separate bulk deals, as promoter entity Samayat Services offloaded 14% of the company for Rs 7,636 crore.
