Hindustan Aeronautics faces market momentum with Defence contract

The Ministry of Defence signed a Rs 2,901 crore contract with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for six Advanced Light Helicopters (ALH) Mk-III (Maritime Role) for the Indian Coast Guard. This deal is expected to enhance the Coast Guard's capabilities in maritime security, involving over 200 MSMEs and generating 65 lakh man-hours of employment.
