Novo Nordisk gets FDA warning over unreported Ozempic side effect

Novo Nordisk received a warning letter from the US FDA for failing to report all suspected side effects of Ozempic. The agency found 300 unsubmitted reports, including 5 deaths and a suicide, and flagged Novo's company procedures as noncompliant. Novo stated it will address the concerns and has been working with the FDA since an inspection in 2025.
