Supreme Court Halts IRCON VAT Demand of ₹79 crore

IRCON International Ltd received a stay on VAT demands of around ₹78.64 crore from the Supreme Court of India, covering fiscal years 2010-11, 2012-13, 2014-15, 2015-16, and 2016-17. The development follows a Patna High Court judgment, which upheld VAT demands for specific years. IRCON reported a 15.97% jump in net profit to ₹99.9 crore in the third quarter.
