Fairfax-backed Bluspring acquires India unit of German energy firm

Bluspring Enterprises Ltd acquired STEAG Energy Services (India) Pvt Ltd for Rs 180 crore ($21.4 million). This acquisition strengthens Bluspring's position in India's power and infrastructure market, with operations in Botswana and a joint venture. STEAG India reported Rs 481 crore revenue and a net profit of Rs 27 crore for FY 2025, with over 2,000 professionals on staff.
