HDFC Bank probes whistleblower complaints from 2024 onwards

HDFC Bank scrutinizes 747 whistleblower complaints received between FY20 and FY25, mostly for misappropriation, forgery, and improper business practices. 156 complaints in FY24 led to action in 55 cases, and 97 complaints in FY25 led to action in 41 cases, with the bank currently investigating a new alleged conflict of interest case.
