HDFC Bank receives RBI approval to sell stake in HDFC Credila
HDFC Bank said that it has received approval from markets regulator RBI to offload 90% of HDFC Credila’s total issued and paid-up share capital. On June 20 last year, HDFC Ltd disclosed to the exchanges that it had entered into definitive agreements for the potential sale of a 90 percent share in HDFC Credila to a consortium of private equity firms for approximately ₹9,060 crore.

Mcap of 8 of top-10 valued firms soars to Rs 1.10 lakh crore
Market valuation of eight of the 10 most valued firms jumped Rs 1,10,106.83 crore last week, with Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) emerging as the biggest gainer. Last week, the 30-share BSE Sensex benchmark rose 716.16 points or 0.97 per cent. RIL, ICICI Bank, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), ITC, and Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) were among the gainers.

FPIs infuse Rs 18,500 cr in debt market in Feb
Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) continued their bullish stance on the country's debt markets with a net infusion of over Rs 18,500 crore so far this month, driven by upcoming inclusion of Indian government bonds in the JP Morgan Index. This came following a net investment of over Rs 19,836 crore in January, making it the highest monthly inflow in more than six years.
