As of March 31, 2023, SBFC Finance had 152 branches across 120 cities around India and was catering to 1,02,722 customers. The Average Ticket Size (ATS) of secured business loans, loans against gold, and other unsecured loans stood at Rs. 9 lakhs, Rs. 90,000, and Rs. 6.9 lakhs respectively. For FY 2023, the net interest earnings of the company had grown by 49% to Rs. 379 crores. The Net Interest Margin (NIM) stood at a healthy 9.3%.

  • Being a lending institution, the company is prone to non-payment or default by borrowers

  • The business model is subjected to frequent inspections by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI)
