Note: NSE can shut down the market on days other than the ones listed above or open the market for trading on NSE holidays. Besides, the Exchange can reduce, advance, or extend trading hours when it deems fit. Traders are notified of such changes in advance via circulars.

The NSE will conduct a special live trading session on Saturday, March 2, 2024, to test the intra-day switchover from the primary site to the disaster recovery site for equity and equity derivatives segments. The session will be in two phases: the first phase, a 45-minute session, will start at 9:15 am, and the second phase will be from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.

According to an NSE notification, markets will remain open until 3:30 PM on January 20, 2024, and there will be a trading holiday on January 22, 2024, as declared under the Negotiable Instruments Act.
