Revision in Trading Hours of Commodity Derivatives Segment

The MCX issued a circular (MCX/TRD/763/2020) on October 13, 2020 to notify members about the revision in trading hours. This circular was issued by the MCX in accordance with an earlier circular that SEBI had issued on November 30, 2018 (circular number SEBI/HO/CDMRD/DMP/CIR/P/2018/146).

As per the latest MCX circular in this regard, the trading hours are to be revised from November 2, 2020 to March 12, 2021. Both these dates are also included in the window during which the revised trading hours shall be applicable. This change in trading hours has been brought about because of the change in US daylight savings timings.

The circular also went on to give the details of the revised trading hours and the timings for the session during which client code modifications could be executed. Those details are as follows.
