The frontline index Nifty 50 too tanked 345 points to 21,958, reflecting weak investor sentiment on Dalal Street. Nifty 50 slipped below 22,000 for the first time since April 19. Domestic stocks eroded nearly ₹7 lakh crore worth investor wealth on Thursday.
